BRAHMAMGARI MATHAM

It is the place where Sri Potuluri Veerabrahmam  who was famous for his preachings and mainly for his remarks on future of the world, stayed in Kandimallayapalli. Veerabrahmam is the only futurologist that the East has produced. He entered Jeeva Samadhi in the year 1693. Brahmamgari Matham was built in Kandimallayapalli after the death of Veerabrahmam.

GANDIKOTA FORT
 

Gandikota is a small village (Lat. 140 47? N. and Long. 780 16?S.) on the Right Bank of the river Pennar, in Jammalamadugu taluk of Kadapa district, Andhra Pradesh. Here lies the famous fort of Gandikota, which acquired its name obviously due to the gorge, formed between the Erramalai range of hills, also known as 'Gandikota hills' and the river Pennar that flows at its foot, reducing its width to a mere 300 ft. Situated amidst beautiful landscape and wild forests, it is endowed with great potentialities of natural strength.

LANKAMALA SANCTUARY
 

Spread over an area of 464.42 sq. km. in Cuddapah district this sanctuary lies at a distance of 15 km. from Cuddapah. The sanctuary has deep gorges and steep slopes with beautiful waterfalls. The forest of this sanctuary is dry deciduous thorn mixed forests, dry evergreen scrubs, etc. It is the home of Red Sanders, an endemic species of the area. This sanctuary is the habitat for the rare and endangered species, double-banded Jordan’s courser.

TALLAPAKA

Entrance of TallapakaTallapaka is a village  in Rajampet mandal of Kadapa district. The village has the distinction of being the birthplace of Saint Annamacharya the famous composer of devotional songs on Lord Venkateswara who made invaluable contribution to music and literature during the 15th century. Several temples are there in Tallapaka. Dhyana Mandiram was constructed in memory great Saint Annamacharya, at Tallapaka.

PUSHPAGIRI

PushpagiriPushpagiri is one of the holy places in Kadapa district for Hindus. This place is located on the banks of river Pennar (Pinakini) about 16Kms from Kadapa city. Pushpagiri is famous for its numerous temples. This is the only holy place for both Saivas and Vaishnavas (two divisions of Hindu religion).

VONTIMITTA

The temple of Sri Kodandarama is situated towards the south west of the Vontimitta village. The temple had a spacious courtyard and three gopura gateways. The temple  was developed  by the Cholas and Vijayanagara kings. A unique feature of the temple is, the absence of the Hanuman Idol, which makes it a one-of-its kind temple in India. So that it is noticeable that to the east of the eastern gopura of this temple is the temple of Sanjeevaraya (Sri Hanuman) facing west to the main temple.

DEVUNI KADAPA

Devuni kadapa is the holy place (where ancient temple of Balaji is located) in Kadapa city , people believes that before setting up journey to ‘Tirumala’(holy place of Lord Venkateswara (Balaji)) i.e "Seven Hills”, they should come visit this place and set course the journey.
