Tummalapalli Uranium processing plant commissioned
Atomic Energy Commission (AEC) chairman Srikumar Banerjee said that the most valuable uranium ore in the country was in M. Tummalapalle inYSR (Kadapa) district.
He formally launched an uranium ore mine and processing plant at M. Tummalapalle in Vemula mandal of YSR(Kadapa) district on Friday.
Nandalur – Arakkonam Passenger extended upto Kadapa
Union minister for Railways Dinesh Trived announced extension of Nandalur – Arakkonam passenger train while presenting Railway Budget 2012 -13 in Loksabha. Train# 56011/56012 that is running in between Nandalur & Arakkonam of TamilNadu will now run in between Kadapa & Arakkonam.
Trivedi Announced New Train in between Yerraguntla – Nossam
While presenting his maiden Railway Budget for the year 2012 in Loksabha Union Minister Dinesh Trivedi announced new passenger train in between Yerraguntla & Nossam.
This passenger train will run daily in between Yerraguntla & Nossam (Nanganapalli). Nossam is located on Yerraguntla – Nandyal Railway Line.

US Consul General to conduct Tourist Visa presentation in Kadapa
